Saturday’s agenda included a car ride up the 258 North, approximately an hour outside of Jacksonville, NC, to look for photo ops.
I was determined to find all of the abandoned “gems” that I had been scoping out on my previous road trips in and out of North Carolina.

If you’re anything like me you yearn for some alone time. Even if it’s just thirty minutes of time by yourself to collect your thoughts calmly or ponder your next move in life. That’s what I needed this Sunday and so desperately craved. I got just that…about 30 minutes to get out there and do...

The first photo is a new spin on an earlier Pano that I posted - ...

During my visit to see Julie in Indiana we has some time to do some “drive by shoots.” It was bitter cold but I can never pass up a good photo opportunity…that’s what coats, hats and gloves were made for!
Julie took some photos during the drive by as well but she decided to take them...

After photographing an abandoned New Jersey Diner on Route 22 today I realized that I’d love to photograph more of them.
I googled New Jersey Diners and found 2 sites which highlight Central & North Jersey diners as well as a link highlighting a book all about New Jersey diners:
http://www.dinercity.com/njDiner/centralNJ.html
http://www.dinercity.com/njDiner/northNJ.html

Many of them are very...
