Moira + Ken = Married! | New Jersey Wedding Photographer

Moira and Ken had the most beautiful day for their wedding.  Sun was shining…blue skies with puffy clouds, not too hot.  Just perfect for a July wedding. I’ve know Ken many years through my sister and brother-in-law.  I’ve also known Moira a few years since we all spent a 4th of July holiday vacationing together a couple years ago in Lake George, NY.  I was so excited last year when they asked if I would do their wedding photography for them.

The church they chose,  St. Mary’s in Bordentown, was gorgeous!  I loved it so much I did a blog post highlighting the beauty of the church not too long ago.

I told Ken to relax and “play it cool” for his portrait below as well as the one with his brother, Jim.  I think they thought I was funny when I told them that.  Sometimes you have to try anything to get people to relax!  =)

Moira was escorted by her lovely parents down the long aisle of beautiful St. Mary’s.

After the mass the reception took place at Carlucci’s Warerfront in Mount Laurel, NJ.  I loved the back patio along the Rancocas Creek.  It was such a beautiful setting for all of the family photos and formal portraits of the bride and groom.

While I was editing the formal portraits on the patio where they had a gazebo supported by old roman-esque columns I got the feeling I should do vintage and textured looks for many of the photos including the two below.

We had a beautiful sunset so I grabbed Moira and Ken for a few minutes of portraits out on the patio.   I’m so pleased we did because I got some beautiful portraits of the two of them.

Take a moment to watch the video below to check out the FANTASTIC Father/Daughter dance!!

One of my favorite “detail” shots from the wedding!

EVERYONE had a great time dancing at this wedding!! Especially the bride and groom!  The dance floor was packed with their family and friends all night!

Ken & Moira,  I enjoyed photographing your wedding and being a part of your day!  Thank you for thinking of me!

Best wish for happiness to you always!

Sue - The video was a great touch. Love it. I think my favorite photo was the exchange of the rings in the church.
