Photo Prop Barn Wood Floors and Backdrops | New Jersey Portrait Photographer

I was looking for affordable faux/fake barn wood floors online to use for photo props. Everything I found was too expensive for me or only offered sizes that were too small for what I was looking for.  I approached my sister, Darlene, who runs her own graphic design business (www.cranburycustom.com), and asked if she could help me come up with an affordable alternative in a LARGE size.

We worked on a prototype using a material that is typically used to make large banner signs. We printed the photo of the floor that I wanted to use, as a test, on the banner material and then I tested the results at a photo shoot. I liked what I saw!

I posted an example photo, which included the faux/fake wood floor on my Facebook Photography Fan Page and it sparked the interest of other photographers. Because I saw such an interest in these barn wood floor photo props I thought that I could make them available for other photographers.

In addition to the faux/fake barn wood floors we’ve also decided to offer backdrops made of the same material.  We have hundreds of designs available for printing and we’re am also offering custom backdrops where you can submit your own design.

The floors and backdrops roll up for easy transport and look fantastic in photos!  Check out the sample barn wood floors below as well as the custom backdrops modeled by my beautiful friend Amy!
