Sneak Peek: Christina & Andrew | New Jersey Family Portrait Photographer

Today was a gorgeous day for a portrait shoot.  It started out over cast but the sun keep popping in and out on us…I never had to change the settings on my camera so many times – that sneaky sun just wanted to mess with me!

Christina asked me about doing a portrait shoot with her son Andrew and I was happy to take her up on it.  It was my first mother/son portraits and we couldn’t have picked a better place for the  shoot than Princeton University Campus.  Although today was extremely crowded on campus we worked around it.  The campus is one of my favorite places for portraits.  The backgrounds are endless!

After going through all of the photos I took today this one really stood out to me.  I love how mom is looking over her shoulder and how her eyes are sparkling and you can beat Andrew’s great smile!  Another reason I love it is the way the blue (of my favorite sculpture on campus) just pops and frames them so wonderfully!

More to come from this session soon!

Julie McLeod - Mother and son – what a terrific idea! That sculpture does make a neat backdrop. Great portrait….
